When I woke up in the morning, there was a light rain outside. Yeah, it is not a good day for a hiking. However, 7 people include me have agreed to do hiking even it rains. We needed to go to the Großer Feldberg with the public transport. We had to take the train and then take the bus to be at the bus station in the 900m high Großer Feldberg. What we saw at there was the white covered field by the heavy snow. We did not know that snow falls in this area before we arrived here.
The landscape was beautiful, but we could not proceed the hiking because of the light heavy snow. Even though we could not do the hiking, we could enjoy the beautiful white landscape over there. That was enough for today. The first snow in 2017, checked.
