BAEGOPA LEE: FRANKFURT

I think pak choi is the restaurant where I went most times in Frankfurt. Even I have many companions, I could book the table on that day. The rotation of the table is great. Most people stay at the restaurant only for 1 hour or less. We were total 7 people, so we ordered 7 dishes. We always ordered the same dishes, so it was required to order something else. But this time, we ordered the exactly same menu I had before. Only the pork rip was the new menu I never tried before. water boiled fish, my favorite meal in pak choi new try pork rib, not bad spicy squid, great taste chicken chilly, great taste with beer sweet eggplant, a bit too sweety garlic water spinach, it makes not to tried of eating meat only

My colleagues from Korea wanted to visit the biggest outlet in Germany. The city Metzingen is approximately 2 and a half hours far from Frankfurt. My collaues will drive there and I just need to follow them. The size of the outlet city is not that much big than I expected. There are just a couple of shops in this town. But the Hugo Boss shop was really big. I think it is not worth to visit if you want to buy like Adidas or Nike, Esprit. But if you planned to buy a luxery items from Gucci or expensive shops, then you are at the right place to save a lot of money. Or if you like to buy famous german kitchen stuff like WMF, it is worth to visit here. I bought two frying pans woth 55 Eur which costs 75 Eur by ebay.

It was already twice that I planned to visit this restaurant Goc Pho and cancelled. And finally I could eat dinner at the restaurant. This restaurant is close from the Hauptwache, but it is not easy to find it since it is located in the hidden place. Hidden place near Hauptwache I came here with 7 friends. It means that we could order 7 different dishes!!! We discussed to order a starter we could make by ourselves, but it may be a bit messy when everyone tried to make them. I wanted to have some rest after the trip to Nepal. And my flight company was Thai airways. They offer good priced ticket to the Phuket island, and there exists a direct flight to Frankfurt!!! So, I moved to Phuket after 2 weeks demanding trekking in Nepal. The first day in Phuket was only 3 hours. I arrived at the Phuket airport at 9PM and then arrived at the Hotel at 11pm. I had only 80 Bht in my pocket and all currency exchange shops were closed. So, I had great sleep at first day. It was great choice to stay at the Kata beach. The color of the water was very clear, not regreted. The one problem was, there were so many chinese tourists in Phuket. It is not problem that I saw the chinese tourists, but most thai people tried to talk in chinese to me to sell something. More than 100 people tried to talk to me everyday in chinese and it was super annoying!!! It was more annoying than someone tried to talk in English just because I cannot understand at all. It was not really planned, but I had 3 weeks time and wanted to go somewhere I've never been to before. View of the annapurna A friend of mine posted some photos of the Himalaya area on her Facebook two months ago. My impression of the photos were very strong, so I immediately checked the price of the flight ticket to Kathmandu, and then booked. It was really long journey from Frankfurt to Kathmandu. It took around 18 hours to arrive at KTM, but it was not the end of the way to the Himalaya. I had to take another 7 to 9 hours of the bus from Kathmadu to Pokhara. Was it really worth to visit there with spending such a long time? My answer was yes, definetely. I had to prepare light package of the backpack before the trekking was started. I had to carry on the backpack for 10 days in the montain with the range from 1000m to 4000m high altitude. Therefore, I was desperate to reduce the weight of my backpack as much as I can.
