I didn`t know that there exists a Chinese restaurant near my area. I saw this restaurant a couple of times, but I assumed that it`s a German restaurant due to the name of it. I was planning to go to the Uighur restaurant on Thursday before the Easter holiday, but the restaurant was fully booked and we had to find the alternative. Having checked on internet, I noticed that this restaurant Zum Golden Löwen is actually not the German restaurant, but the Chinese restaurant. This restaurant has a good google review by the Chinese speaking people, so I assumed that this restaurant is not that bad.
They have a lamb hotpot which is not easy to find in Frankfurt. So, we reserved this menu in advance. For me, every foods were great, but my Chinese routine friends said that the lamb hotpot was really nice and the other menus were so so, acceptable.
I really recommend the Lamb hotpot and the Kung Pao chicken. I was a bit worried when I entered the restaurant at first just because they are almost no customers. However, it was just one day before the Easter holiday and the location of the restaurant is not that convenient, especially during the time the Sbahn is under construction.
