Moules and Birthday cake

It does not need to be in November to eat the mussels, but this month would be the best time to have the best taste of the mussels. 
I got invited to have the dinner with moules marinières at a friend's house. Obviously, the way of cooking the mussels in Europe is quite different from the korean way. We cooknthe mussels for the soup, but they cook it to eat the mussels more. 

We were total 7 people and we ate 6kg mussels, 2 baguettes, 1 big salad and 2 asian salads. And as a dessert we ate 1 whole home made cake, the birthday cake for one of the members. And we drunk quite many bottles of wine. 

It's always rain outside on the weekend, so I could not run for a while. However, I ate a lot recently at home or at the restaurant since it is not good time to go out due to the cold weather. I am seriouly thinking to control myself not to eat much in this winter.
